There's a decent excuse to get back behind the wheel in GTA Online this week, and it's not just another tiny bonus nobody notices. The Motor Madness event runs until May 27, and it's aimed right at players who spend half their time tuning cars, racing through traffic, or trying to squeeze more value out of every job. Some players jump in with fresh garages, while others look at things like GTA 5 Modded Accounts when they want a faster route into the Los Santos lifestyle, but either way, this event gives you plenty to do once you're on the streets.
Easy Login Rewards
The first reward is about as simple as it gets. Log in during the event window and you'll receive the Rockstar Helmet, which is a nice little wardrobe pick-up even if you only wear it once for the look. The better extras come from shopping. Buy any vehicle from Simeon's Premium Deluxe Motorsport and the Rockstar Racing Suit will be added to your account. Pick up a ride from Luxury Autos instead and you'll unlock the LS Customs Varsity Jacket. Don't panic if the clothing doesn't show up right away, though. These rewards can take up to 72 hours to appear, which is pretty normal for GTA Online event items.
Car Meet Players Get The Big Boost
The Los Santos Car Meet is the main spot this week. If you still haven't paid for membership, that cost is gone for now, so it's a good time to walk in and start ranking up. The big deal is the 5X LS Car Meet Reputation boost. That's huge if you've been slowly grinding toward trade prices, clothing unlocks, wheels, liveries, or special mod options. It's the sort of multiplier where you can actually feel your progress moving instead of watching the bar crawl along. The LS Car Meet Series is also paying double GTA$ and RP, so even a rough night of racing can still put something useful in your pocket.
Weekly Challenge And Auto Shop Money
If you're chasing the Weekly Challenge, you'll need to win two LS Car Meet Series races. Do that and you'll get the Bright Manor Racing Suit plus a GTA$100,000 bonus. It's not impossible, but you'll want a car you know well rather than something you bought five minutes ago. Over at the Auto Shop, every Robbery Contract is paying double, which makes this a strong week for players who prefer quick, focused jobs over endless freemode messing about. The RC Time Trial and Junk Energy Time Trial are also doubled. GTA+ members get an even better deal on the Junk Energy run, with rewards pushed up to 4X.
Garage Deals Worth Checking
The discounts are practical this time, not just showroom bait. Garage properties are 40% off, so if your vehicle collection is starting to look cramped, this is the moment to fix it. The Emperor Vectre and Rapid GT are also down by 40%, and both are worth a look if you want something fun without paying full price. Benny's upgrades, HSW upgrades, turbo tuning, and tire smoke are all half off too, which helps if you've been putting off a big build. Players comparing routes, grinding event cash, or even searching around for GTA 5 Modded Accounts buy options should still make use of these in-game deals before May 27 rolls past.
